Violating Stay Permit Rules, Two Chinese Citizens Deported From PIK 2

TANGERANG - The Class I Immigration Office Special for Non-TPI Tangerang will deport two foreign nationals (WNA) from China with the initials XZ and ZJ. This happened because both of them were proven to have abused their stay permit by working as rough workers.

"Both of them will be deported and we will include them in the deterrence list," said Head of the Banten Directorate General of Immigration, Hendro Tri Prasetyo, Friday, April 18.

He said the two of them were secured by the office shophouse of the Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK) 2 area, Tangerang Regency on Thursday, April 10.

At the time of the incident, XZ was secured while working as a construction worker by working on furniture cutting wood, display racks, and aluminum frames since February 2025.

Then based on the results of the examination using a residence permit for visits with index B1 or only a maximum duration of 30 days

"(Meanwhile) ZJ also uses a residence permit for visits with index B1, which is already active on March 12, 2025. ZJ is a foreman sent by a central company in China to help prepare for the opening and prepare all company operations in Indonesia," said Hendro in his statement, Friday, April 18.

For their actions, both of them are suspected of violating Article 122 letter a of Law Number 6 of 2011 concerning Immigration, with a maximum imprisonment of 5 years and a maximum fine of IDR 500 million.

Currently, both of them will be deported for allegedly violating the misuse of residence permits in Indonesia.
