2 Girls In Serang Kidnapped After Annoying Through Online Games

SERANG - Two girls with the initials IT (12) and their cousin DM (10) from Kragilan District, Serang Regency, Banten Province became victims of kidnapping while getting acquainted with foreigners through online or online games.

Serang Police Chief AKBP Condro Sasongko said the victim and perpetrator SH (20) had known each other since two weeks ago through the Free Fire Online Game. From that introduction, the victim made an appointment to meet.

"Their method is to get acquainted through the Online Game application. Communication there intensely, then the perpetrator asked to meet but the victim asked to be accompanied by his cousin," he explained as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, March 24.

And the victim was rescued by joint personnel from the Kragilan Police and the Mobile Investigation Team (Resmob) at a rented house in the Sunter area, Tanjung Priok District, North Jakarta, Monday (24/3).

"The victim was arrested 3 hours after the officer received the report. The disclosure of the alleged immoral case was a follow-up to the report on the disappearance of IT and DM on Monday (24/3) morning," he said.

He explained that previously the victim was picked up by suspect SH using an Avanza type vehicle on Sunday (24/3) morning. And the police received a report from the victim's family this morning at around 09.00 WIB.

Armed with the report, Kragilan Police personnel assisted by the Resmob Team immediately carried out an in-depth information. From the results of the investigation, the two victims are known to be in the Sunter area, Tanjung Priuk, North Jakarta.

"From the results of the investigation, the whereabouts of the two victims are known to be in a rented house in the Sunter area, Tanjung Priok," he explained.

After knowing the whereabouts of the victim, the Joint Team managed to save the two victims and secured the suspect SH, who was suspected of kidnapping the victim at the rented house.

Both the victim and the suspect were immediately secured to the Serang Police Headquarters. From the results of the examination, in the rented house the female victim was molested by suspect SH," he said.

SH will be charged with Articles 81 and 82, Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 17 of 2016 concerning Stipulation of Government Regulations in Lieu of Law Number 1 of 2016 concerning child protection into law, Junto Article 331 of the Criminal Code (KUHP).

"We will snare it with multiple articles, kidnapping and molestation. The suspect is still under further investigation to find out other motives," he said.
