JAKARTA - Hundreds of students from the National University (Unas) and Trisakti returned to the Pancasila Gate of the Indonesian Parliament Building on Jalan Blora, Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta, Thursday, March 20, afternoon. The mass of action against the TNI Bill this time is equipped with a campus alma mater and a flag from the two universities. They arrived at around 12.30 WIB.

The arrival of the students had covered the Blora Street section, causing a long traffic jam. In fact, one unit of the Emergency Ambulance was caught in a traffic jam even though it was finally able to pass.

Around 300 students who participated in the demonstration, threw a number of speeches against the TNI Bill.

The demonstrators came together using motorbikes to public transportation. They immediately gathered in front of the Pancasila Gate, before the long march to the main gate of the DPR RI on Jalan Gatot Subroto.

The Indonesian House of Representatives has officially ratified the revision of the TNI Law on Amendments to Law Number 34 of 2004 concerning the Indonesian National Army or the TNI Bill into law.

This decision was taken at a plenary meeting attended by a number of ministers. The meeting was held in the plenary room of the DPR RI building, Senayan, Central Jakarta, Thursday, March 20, 2025.
