Accelerated, Dasco Ensures That The Appointment Of CASN Will Continue To Be Carried Out In 2025

JAKARTA - Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, said that his party had asked the government to accelerate the appointment of candidates for the state civil apparatus (ASN). Dasco said that his party had the certainty that the appointment of CASN would continue this year.

The request was conveyed by the leadership of the DPR when meeting with the government some time ago.

"Beberapa minggu kemarin itu sebagai pimpinan DPR bersama dengan beberapa kawan-kawan dari DPR itu sudah melakukan pertemuan dengan pihak pemerintah dalam rangka memberikan masukan masukan kepada pemerintah. Kan beberapa waktu yang lalu sudah ada keputusan dari pemerintah untuk mengangkat CPNS dan PPPK itu di Oktober 2025 untuk CPNS dan Maret 2026 untuk PPPK. Nah, dalam pertemuan itu saya minta, kami minta agar pemerintah mempercepat pendatan, melakukan simuli-simulasi untuk kemudian bisa cepat cepat," ujar Dasco di Kompleks Parliament, Senayan, Jakarta, Senin, 17 Maret.

"And thank God at that time it was conveyed that the government would try to do it simultaneously in 2025," he continued.

However, Dasco has not been able to confirm whether CASN will be appointed after Eid or what month. "Then for the PPPK gradually no later than what month in 2025, of course the competent government will answer this," he said.

Dasco said that his party only received confirmation that today, Monday, March 17, at 13.00 WIB or 14.00 WIB, the government represented by the Minister of State Secretary, the Minister of PAN-RB and the Head of BKN will announce to the media.

Previously, Minister of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform (Menpan RB) Rini Widyantini revealed that the government decided to postpone the schedule for the appointment of candidates for state civil servants (ASN).

"The government proposes to adjust the schedule for the appointment of CASN as an ASN employee with an estimated appointment at the end of 2025 or in early 2026," said Rini in a meeting with Commission II of the DPR, at the DPR Building, Jakarta, Wednesday, March 5.

Menpan RB will also ensure that all applicants who pass CASN will still be appointed, be it prospective civil servants (PNS) or government employees with a work agreement (PPPK). According to the plan, prospective civil servants will be appointed in October 2025, while PPPK candidates will be appointed in March 2026.
