Need A Budget Of IDR 4 Trillion, Governor Claims Road In Lampung To Be Smooth In Three Years

JAKARTA - Lampung Governor Rahmat Mirzani Djausal ensured that in the next two or three years the roads in the province would be smooth.

"To realize a good and smooth road throughout Lampung Province, we need funds of up to IDR 4 trillion. Meanwhile, the Lampung Provincial budget is only IDR 440 billion, so it takes 10 times the budget to take care of all roads in Lampung Province, but this continues to be pursued by the local government," said Rahmat in Bandarlampung, Wednesday, March 12, confiscated by Antara.

He said, therefore, cooperation is needed by all parties in improving road infrastructure in Lampung Province.

"With the cooperation of all parties, it can be ascertained that in two to three years all roads will be smooth. I am sure Lampung will rise by having good road facilities," he said.

He continued, with a smooth infrastructure, it can help the distribution and mobility of delivery of superior agricultural commodities. So that it can be sold at the maximum price.

"Through the Best Rapid Result Program (PHTC) of the Governor-Vice Governor of Lampung, the Lampung Provincial Government seeks to repair several roads such as those that have started in North Lampung and East Lampung," he said.

He also asked regents and mayors in his area to participate in building district roads, to increase interconnection between villages and regions.

"We want all of the roads to be repaired, so interconnections between villages must be created immediately by building district roads. So that the agricultural sector can be sold and a good market is formed," he continued.

Previously, in 100 working days through the Fast Best Result Program (PHTC), the Governor-Deputy Governor of Lampung had repaired the road, namely the Kotabumi-Badar Abung area of North Lampung Regency with a cost of up to IDR 5.1 billion.

Then the Jabung-Simpang Maringai road in East Lampung Regency reached IDR 10.8 billion.

And the Jalan Rejosari Village section, Pringsewu District, Pringsewu Regency.
