The Directorate of General Criminal Investigation (Ditreskrimum) of the East Java Regional Police arrested three residents of Bojonegoro who produced firearms (senpi) for the Armed Criminal Group (KKB) in Puncak Jaya, Papua.
East Java Police Chief Komjen Imam Sugianto said the arrest of three suspects was the result of the development of the arrests made by the Papuan Police.

Papua Police Chief Inspector General Petrus Patrige Rudolf Renwarin explained that the evidence that was secured included 982 rounds of ammunition of various caliber and five firearms.
"The ammunition that was secured consisted of 42 5.56 mm caliber, 198 5.6 mm caliber, 152 30 caliber pills, 197 7.62 mm caliber, and 14 9 mm caliber pills," said Inspector General Petrus Patrige Rudolf Renwarin.
The five firearms seized consisted of two Fajar homemade weapons and three short-barreled firearms.
The Papua Police Chief emphasized that until now there was no involvement of members of the TNI/Polri in this case. However, his party emphasized that strict action would be given if any person was proven to be involved.
