Batam Religious Court Judge Becomes An Unknown Person Stabbing Victim

Public Relations of the Batam Religious Court, Ajizon, confirmed that the stabbing incident occurred this morning at 07.15 WIB.

"The judge of the Batam Religious Court, Gusnahari, was stabbed by an unknown person this morning," said Ajizon, quoted by ANTARA, Thursday afternoon.

He explained the chronology of the incident occurred when the judge was about to leave his house located at the Cipta Garden Residential RT 1 RW 15, Sungai Harapan Village, Sekupang District, Batam City to go to work at the office.

From the information obtained from the judge, he said, the stabbing occurred when Gusnahari walked to the parking lot of his car which was a bit far from his house.

"According to his statement, he headed for a car that happened to be parked about 100 meters away and suddenly attacked by an unknown person and hit him," he said.

According to Ajizor, the stabbing perpetrator wore a helmet so that it was difficult to identify. After the stabbing Judge Gusnahari, the perpetrator immediately fled using a motorbike.

“Setelah penusukan pelaku yang pakai helm langsung menuju motor dan sudah ditunggu satu orang pakai motor,” katanya.

Akibat insiden tersebut, Hakim Gusnahari mendapat perawatan medis di Rumah Sakit Otoritas Batam (RSOB) karena mengalami luka robek di tangan kanan.

Ajizor added that this incident had been reported to the Sekupang Police, the police were currently investigating the incident and identifying the perpetrators.
