426 Thousand Tickets For The 2025 Eid Train From Jakarta Have Been Ordered

PT KAI Daop 1 Jakarta recorded as many as 426,932 Lebaran 2025 train tickets departing from several stations in the Daop 1 area have been ordered or sold.

KAI Daop 1 Jakarta Public Relations Manager Ixfan Hendriwintoko said, of the total 426,932 tickets sold, 133,972 tickets were for departure from Gambir Station, and 287,476 tickets for departure from Pasar Senen Station, while 5,484 tickets departed from other stations in the Daop 1 Jakarta area.

Ixfan said that every day, PT KAI Daop 1 Jakarta provides 44,122 seats, consisting of 19,978 seats from Gambir Station and 24,144 seats from Pasar Senen Station.

Meanwhile, the total seating capacity available during the Eid Transport period from March 21 to April 11, 2025 reached 970,675 seats with a total train trip during that period of 1,826 trips.

PT KAI Daop 1 Jakarta predicts the peak of departures at Gambir Station will occur on March 29 and March 30, 2025, with occupancy reaching 92-97 percent.

Meanwhile, Pasar Senen Station is estimated to be the highest spike on March 30, 2025, with occupancy exceeding normal capacity (102 percent).

"We urge prospective passengers to plan trips well and follow applicable regulations for mutual comfort and safety," said Ixfan as quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, February 27.
