Robber Who Killed The Owner Of A House In Bali Arrested, Shot Him In The Feet By Police

DENPASAR - Denpasar Police and South Kuta Police, finally arrested the robber named Moch. Rafli Barizi (20) from Pasuruan, East Java.

The perpetrator stabbed the owner of the house named Kartini (56) from Purworejo, Central Java, to death and also injured the victim's child, Dika Putri Kartika Sari (24) at the victim's house at Kori Nuansa Barat Housing, Jimbaran, South Kuta District, Badung Regency, Bali, on Sunday (23/2) at around 03.14 WITA.

"The victims who died suffered six stab wounds including six stab wounds in the back of the others on the shoulders and back which resulted in the death of the world. And for (the victim's child) suffered bruises on the left and right cheeks, wounds on the neck due to strangulation," said South Kuta Police Chief Kompol Gusti Ngurah Yudistira, Monday, February 24.

The perpetrator of this project laborer was arrested by the joint police on Sunday (23/2) in Kuta.

During the arrest, the perpetrator tried to escape until the officers gave a shot to the victim's two legs.

The perpetrator is known to have robbed the victim's house using a ladder behind the house. Surprised that his action was caught, the perpetrator stabbed the victim with a knife.

Meanwhile, the victim's child was strangled to the point of colliding his head to the floor.

After that, the perpetrator took two cellphones, and a gold ring. The ring fell when the perpetrator fled from the victim's house.

"That's when the stabbing was carried out and it turned out that the knife was broken which was brought from a partner behind the house. It was replaced with a kitchen knife at the crime scene and used it for (the stabbing) and at that time (the stabbing) came his daughter to help. His daughter also got violence until she fainted," he said.

"The most fatal thing was the stabbing in the neck. It was inside, it caused injuries and maybe bleeding to death," said Gusti.

According to the police, the perpetrator worked as a construction worker near the scene for one week.

"The cellphone is planned to be sold and will be used for daily life because maybe from this the perpetrator does not have money. And will also be used to escape back to Pasuruan," said South Kuta Police Criminal Investigation Unit Head Iptu. M Guruh Firmansyah.

From the results of the urine test, the perpetrator a week earlier took a koplo pill and was known to have stolen a tube from a person's house in Tundo Soro Village in Pasuruan in 2023.

"There were three pills for drunk koplo pills about a week ago. The perpetrators when they were about to run away had previously ordered a trip to return to Pasuruan and we managed to catch them," he said.

The perpetrator was charged with Article 356 Paragraph 3 of the Criminal Code concerning theft which resulted in death with a penalty of 15 years in prison.
