We hope that the elites in this country are wise and show their statesmanship. They must be able to distinguish between the interests of a moment and which are the interests of the long term, which are the interests of the group and which are the common interests for the benefit of the people. many, "explained Arifin.

Despite instructions from Megawati, a number of regional heads from PDIP continued to participate in retret activities, such as Malang Regent Sanusi, Lebak Regent Hasbi Jaya, Brebes Regent Paramitha and Grobogan Regent Setyo Hadi.

Chairman of the PDIP DPP for Economic Affairs, Said Abdullah, said there had been no decision regarding sanctions for cadres who violated Megawati's instructions. According to him, the ban on the retreat is an internal party matter.
