Fugitives For A Year, Killers Also Mawar Market Thugs In Bogor Arrested In Jakarta

BOGOR- Setelah buronan selama satu tahun, Polresta Bogor akhirnya menangkap pelaku pembunuhan YF (36) di Jakarta. Pelaku diduga membunuh R di Kota Bogor pada Mei 2024.

The murder took place on Jalan Perintis Kemerdekaan, Central Bogor District, Bogor City, in May 2024.

The Head of Bogor City Police, Kombes Pol Eko Prasetyo, revealed that at the time of the incident, victim R (45) had an argument with the perpetrator who was drunk. The stabbing was triggered by the victim who grazed the suspect's car.

"During the murder, the perpetrator was drunk," said Kombes Pol Eko, Friday, February 21.

The police revealed that the suspect was also a thug at Mawar Market, Bogor as well as a gang member. This group was involved in a number of criminal acts some time ago.

The suspect is known to often go in and out of the Bogor area. During the shooting at Mawar Market in Bogor, with victim E alias TH by perpetrators BH and HA, suspect YF was also at the scene.

"The person concerned is still in the same group as Jufri. Jufri and victim E alias TH are part of the same group," said Eko.

The suspect had previously been involved in a similar crime, so he did not only play a role in the murder on Jalan Perintis Kemerdekaan.

The police said that the suspect often took arrogant actions against other people. If it is not stopped immediately, it is feared that his behavior will cause new problems.

YF was charged with Article 338 of the Criminal Code and/or Article 170 paragraphs 2 and 3, as well as Article 351 paragraph 3 and/or Article 328 of the Criminal Code. The penalty is imprisonment for 12 years.
