Former Deputy Chief Of Police, Komjen Purn Syafruddin Kambo Dies

JAKARTA - Former Deputy Chief of Police and former Minister of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform (PANRB), Komjen (Ret.) Syafruddin Kambo, died.

The news was confirmed by the Head of the Public Information Bureau (Karopenmas) of the National Police's Divhumas Brigadier General Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko.

"Innalillahiwainnailairajiun. Has left us all former Deputy Chief of Police, Komjen (Ret.) Syafruddin," he said, Thursday, February 20.

Trunoyudo said the deceased died of illness and died at 18.14 WIB at Pertamina Central Hospital, South Jakarta.

"Hopefully Husnulkhatimah will be forgiven for all his mistakes and mistakes," he said.

Komjen (Ret.) Syafruddin graduated from the 1985 Police Academy.

Syafruddin served as Deputy Chief of the North Sumatra Regional Police in 2009 and Head of the Propam Police Division in 2012.

In 2016, Syafruddin was appointed Deputy Chief of Police to accompany former National Police Chief General (Ret.) Tito Karnavian. He held this position until 2018.

After the position of Deputy Chief of Police, from 2018 to 2019, he was trusted to become Minister of PANRB under the administration of 7th President Joko Widodo.
