The Reason For Work, Nikita Mirzani Asks For An Examination Schedule As A Suspect Postponed Next Week

JAKARTA - The police said Nikita Mirzani and his assistant, IM, asked for a postponement and reschedule of the examination as suspects in the alleged extortion and threats case until next week.

Both are scheduled to provide information as suspects in the case reported by Reza Gladys today.

"Investigators have received a letter from the suspect's attorney regarding the request to postpone the investigation of the suspects," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Ade Ary Syam Indradi to reporters, Thursday, February 20.

The reason Nikita Mirzani asked for a postponement was because of work that could not be abandoned. So, through his attorney, the woman who is often called Nyai asked for the process of taking information to be postponed until March 3, 2025.

"What is the reason for the legal counsel? The reason for the postponement is because there are still needs related to work where the work cannot be abandoned or represented," said Ade.

Following up on the request, investigators are said to be sending a second summons and scheduling a summons for questioning next week.

However, regarding the day of the examination, it will be adjusted to a request from Nikita Mirzani's camp, Ade stated that he could not confirm it. This matter will be communicated first with investigators.

"For examination of the two suspects next week," said Ade.

Nikita Mirzani and his assistant with the initials IM have been officially named as suspects in the alleged threat and extortion case. The case was known to have been reported by Reza Gladys.

The alleged extortion or threats started with a problem between Reza Gladys and Nikita Mirzani.

The artist, known as Nikmir, is said to have slandered Reza Gladys's skincare products and badminton products.

Then, Reza Gladys contacted the assistant from Nikta Mirzani to two Whatsapp numbers on November 14, 2024. The goal is to stay in touch.

However, the response received was negative. Because, it is said that there is a statement that contains threats. The reported party will convey something to social media if they don't get money from Reza Gladys.

"So the response from the reported party is the threat of speaking up to social media if the gathering does not make money and the reported party asks for a sum of IDR 5 billion as a mouth-to-mouth money," said Ade.

Fearing the threat, Reza Gladys was investigated for fulfilling the request. He gave up on a total of IDR 4 billion. The handover of money is done in stages.

"Because the victim felt threatened and afraid, on November 14, 2024, the victim transferred funds of Rp. 2 billion to an account in certain names under the direction of the reported party," said Ade.

"On the direction of the reported victim, the victim gave cash amounting to Rp. 2 billion. For this incident, the victim felt that he had been blackmailed and suffered a loss of Rp. 4 billion," he continued.
