Deputy Head Of Golkar Hopes Newly Inaugurated Regional Head Builds Solidity In Prabowo Government

JAKARTA - Deputy Chairperson of the Golkar Party, Nurul Arifin, congratulated 961 regional heads who had just been inaugurated by President Prabowo Subianto at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, this morning. Nurul hopes that all regional heads can build solidity and support the policies of President Prabowo's government.

"I think we congratulate all elected regional heads at the provincial, district and city levels and enjoy working, hopefully, what was done together yesterday at Monas can continue to solidize government and be constructive," said Nurul Arifin at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Thursday, February 20.

According to the member of Commission I of the DPR, all regional heads must be determined to move forward for Indonesia. Nurul also appealed to Golkar cadres who had just been appointed as regional heads to understand the vision and mission of President Prabowo's government.

"Yes, there are several from the Golkar Party faction itself, like Pak Melki Lakalena for NTT Then Rudy Mas'ud for East Kalimantan and others," said Nurul.

As is known, President Prabowo Subianto has inaugurated all regional heads in Indonesia for the period 2025-2030 at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, Thursday, February 20. This inauguration ceremony was attended by 961 regional heads from 481 regions.

In his direction, Prabowo reminded all regional heads to carry out the mandate given by the people.

"I want to remind you. On behalf of the country and the Indonesian nation, you are chosen, you are a servant of the people. You are a servant of the people. You must defend the interests of the people, protect the interests of the people, and fight for the improvement of their lives. That is our duty," Prabowo said in a Youtube broadcast by the State Secretariat.

In the midst of Indonesia's diversity, Prabowo also reminded that all Indonesian people have been united in the big family of the Republic of Indonesia.

"Although it comes from different parties, religions and ethnicities, we have been born into the extended family of the Republic of Indonesia, the red and white family, the big family of Bhinneka Tunggal Ika," said Prabowo.

It is known that the inauguration ceremony for the regional head was attended by 33 governors, 333 deputy governors, 363 regents, 362 deputy regents, 85 mayors, and 85 deputy mayors from 481 regions.
