PDIP Provides Supplies For 142 Elected Regional Heads

The PDI-P Central Executive Board (DPP) provides briefing to 142 elected regional heads in the 2024 Pilkada, both provincial and district/city levels ahead of the inauguration.

The briefing was carried out in a hybrid manner, with an explanation from PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto and PDIP DPP Chair Djarot Saiful Hidayat at the PDI-P DPP Party School, as well as elected regional heads who took part in online activities.

"Untuk gerombang satu yang mengikuti adalah jumlah 142 kepala daerah-deputan kepala daerah yang baru pertama kali terpilih. Sedangkan yang incumbent akan diadakan kemudian," kata Djarot di Sekolah Partai DPP PDI Perjuangan, Lenteng Agung, Jakarta Selatan, Rabu, 12 Februari.

Of the 142 elected regional heads who received the second wave of briefing, the majority or as many as 71 people were internal cadres. Then, as many as 45 people came from ASN or bureaucrats, 23 from businessmen or private circles, 1 person with a TNI/Polri background, and 2 academics.

Djarot said that a number of former governors, regents, and mayors from PDIP who were considered outstanding during their tenure were also presented to share their experiences in leading the region.

"For example, there is Mas Anas in Banyuwangi, there is Mas Ganjar in Central Java, there is Mr. Hendrar Prihadi in Semarang, there is Mrs. Risma in Surabaya, there is Mr. Ahok in Jakarta, and many more," explained Djarot.

On that occasion, Djarot reminded that elected regional heads of PDIP transportation must formulate the vision and mission in the discourse of regional medium-term development in their respective leadership areas without being deviated from President Soekarno's intellectual traditions.

Bung Karno, continued Djarot, has compiled a Universal Development Pattern Planning with experts. PDIP wants elected regional heads to be able to express the idea into a work program in their respective regions.

"We want to convey that we have made this, and this is all translated into the vision and mission of regional heads carried by the PDI-P. So that all synergies are synergized to be able to realize the goals of an independent Indonesia," he added.
