JAKARTA - Head of the Presidential Communication Office Hasan Nasbi emphasized that the 13th and 14th salaries (holiday allowances/THR) for state civil servants are the rights that will still be paid.
Hasan's statement was in response to the issue that the government plans to abolish the THR and the 13th salary of ASN by 2025, as a follow-up to the 2025 APBN budget efficiency in the Presidential Instruction of the Republic of Indonesia Number 1 of 2025 and Letter of the Minister of Finance Number S-37/MK.02/2025.
"So, the 13th salary with THR is the right of civil servants and it will be paid. The Minister of Finance has also given a statement about it," Hasan said when giving a statement at the PCO Jakarta Office, Friday.
Hasan explained that employee spending does not include the structure of the budget efficiency instructed by the President.
"For employee salaries, it is not an efficient part," Hasan said.
Finance Minister Sri Mulyani, Hasan said, had also given a signal that ASN's 13th and 14th (THR) salaries would be processed.
The Minister of Finance said that the process of preparing the 13th and 14th salaries would continue.
