Nabil Abu Rudeineh Affirms Palestine Is Not For Sale

Palestinian Presidency spokesman Nabil Abu Rudeineh stressed that Palestine, along with its land, history and holy places, is not for sale, and not an investment project, with the rights of the Palestinian people non-negotiable and non-barbarry.

Abu Rudeineh's remarks came after US President Donald Trump expressed his proposal to permanent transfer of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, taking over the Palestinian enclave to be rebuilt into what he called the "Central East Riviera", when he received Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House on Tuesday.

"Our Palestinian people, who have made great sacrifices in defending their legitimate national rights and to maintain their independent national decisions represented by the Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO), the only legitimate representative of our people, will not give up a single inch of their land, both in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, the capital of the Palestinian State," he explained, launching WAFA February 6.

"The Palestinian people and their leaders will not allow the disaster to repeat in 1948 and 1967, and will thwart any plans aimed at liquidated their legitimate goals through investment projects whose place is neither in Palestine nor in the land," Abu Rudeineh continued.

He pointed out that President Mahmoud Abbas in an official statement praised the position of Arab and international countries rejecting calls for eviction or annexation, emphasizing that there is no alternative to political solutions based on international legitimacy and Arab Peace Pre-Corruption, for the sake of lasting and stable peace that achieves security and stability for countries in the region.
