PT Timah immediately responded by conducting an internal evaluation. PT Timah's Corporate Communication, Anggi Siahaan, stated that the results of the examination had resulted in a decision to dismiss the person concerned.

"The company has investigated the person concerned regarding violations of company regulations. After going through the evaluation process, PT Timah Tbk has imposed sanctions for termination of employment," said Anggi in his statement, Thursday, February 6.

PT Timah also appealed to all its employees to be more careful in using social media and not to associate personal activities with the company name.

"We regret the noise that occurred as a result of this action. As a company that upholds ethical, harmonious, and mutual respect values, we hope that this incident will be a lesson for all employees," Anggi added.
