JAKARTA - The Banjarnegara Regency Government (Pemkab) will soon build temporary housing (huntara) for dozens of families who are victims of land disasters moving in Kalireng Hamlet, Ratamba Village.
"Yesterday (February 4) we together with volunteers and the community carried out the demolition of houses that were heavily damaged to choose materials that could still be used, later we will wake up the shelter," said Acting Head of the Banjarnegara Regency Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) Tursiman in Banjarnegara, Wednesday, February 5, as reported by Antara.
He said that coincidentally, residents who were victims of the movable land disaster still had land outside the danger zone, but were still in the Ratamba Village area, Pejawaran District, so the Banjarnegara Regency Government did not need to look for new land for the shelter location.
In this case, he said, the shelter will be built on land owned by each resident who is a victim of a moving land disaster
Nevertheless, he said, his party would conduct a geological study first of the land for the prospective location of the shelter to ensure its feasibility even though its location is outside the danger zone of ground movement.
"The number of shelters that will be built is 16 units in accordance with the number of families who have fled. Previously, there were 13 families who fled, but in their development it increased to 16 families, because at that time the movement of land was still common," he said.

Furthermore, he said the huntara development plan is still in process, including budget preparation and is expected to be realized in the near future after the results of a geological study.
According to him, his party will also ask for assistance from various parties, such as the National Amil Zakat Agency of the Central Java Provincial Government in the construction of the huntara.
"We will ask for help, including CSR from various companies. Hopefully, it can be built during an emergency period until the emergency transition period," he said.
In this case, he said, the Banjarnegara Regency Government has set a ground emergency period to move in Ratamba Village for one month and can be extended if the handling has not been completed.
He admitted that in recent times there has been no ground movement in the Kalireng Hamlet area, because the weather conditions have been monitored to be sunny.
"Alhamdulillah, in the last few days there has been no movement of the ground because the weather is sunny, it doesn't rain. But it still has to be watched out for when it rains again," he said.
Previously, Tursiman said the heavy rain that occurred on Monday, January 20, from 18.00 to 22.00 WIB, triggered ground movement in Kalireng Hamlet, Ratamba Village, Pejawaran District.
The movement of the land damaged several residents' houses, one prayer room, and caused the provincial roads connecting Karangkobar and Batur to crack.
As a result of the incident, he continued, as many as 13 families consisting of 41 people fled to relatives' homes in locations safe from land movement.
"The traffic flow on the Karangkobar-Batur road is also disrupted due to cracks in the Pejawaran area," he said.
