Indonesian Parliament Happy For The Government To Sign The MoU On Nusantara Vaccines

JAKARTA - The government through the Minister of Health Budi Gunadi Sadikin, Chief of Army Staff General TNI Andika Perkasa, and Head of the Food and Drug Supervisory Agency (BPOM) Penny K Lukito have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) related to dendritic cell service-based research.

The signing was witnessed by the Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia Muhajir Effendy at the Army Headquarters, Jakarta, Monday, April 19.

Deputy Chairman of Commission IX of the Indonesian Parliament, Emanuel Melkiades Laka Lena, appreciated the government's steps which have given way for the Nusantara Vaccine to continue its development.

"We express our high appreciation to the Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Culture Muhadjir Effendy, for the initiative that a solution has been made to keep pushing the Nusantara Vaccine to continue using the correct mechanism and according to the applicable regulations and based on scientific principles", said Melki Laka Lena, Tuesday, April 20.

The chairman of the DPD Golkar Party also encouraged researchers throughout the archipelago to continue to develop products for the nation's children that could be used internationally.
