TANJUNG CELLOR Provincial Government (Pemprov) of North Kalimantan (Kaltara) delivered an official response to the four Draft Regional Regulations (Ranperda) initiative of the Regional House of Representatives (DPRD) of Kaltara at the 4th Plenary Meeting of the Second Session Period of 2025.
The trial was chaired directly by the Chairman of the North Kalimantan DPRD, Achmad Djufrie, accompanied by Deputy Chairman 1 Muhammad Nasir and attended by all members of the Kaltara DPRD.
Representing the Governor of Kaltara, Assistant for Government and People's Welfare, the North Kalimantan Provincial Secretariat, Datu Iqro Ramadhan appreciated the hard work of the Kaltara DPRD in compiling four Ranperda which were considered strategic for regional development.
"Information disclosure is the main pillar in realizing a clean and transparent government. We support further discussions by adjusting applicable regulations," said Datu Iqro, Monday, February 3.
Datu Iqro emphasized the importance of regulations in managing border areas, therefore this Ranperda is expected to become a legal basis for utilizing resources and improving basic services for border communities.
"This regulation is expected to strengthen administrative governance and improve the welfare of border communities," he added.
He also ensured that Ranperda received full support from the North Kalimantan Provincial Government, in accordance with its commitment to develop a creative economy ecosystem in accordance with Law Number 24 of 2019 concerning Creative Economy.
"This regulation is expected to provide legal certainty for creative economy actors in the regions," he explained.
