JAKARTA - The Ministry of Law (Kemenkum) has acknowledged the management of the Indonesian Cooperatives Council (Dokopin) under the leadership of the General Chairperson of Dekopin Bambang Haryadi. According to the Minister of Law Supratman Andi Agtas, Dekopin has submitted a letter asking for the new management to be recognized by the state since January 15, 2025.
Supratman said that he did this after consulting with the Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi regarding Presidential Decree (Keppres) Number 6 of 2011 concerning the ratification of Dekopin's Basic Budget and Household Budget (AD/ART).
"Therefore, today we have submitted a reply letter to Dekopin's friends. In essence, first, acknowledging the management of Dekopin under the leadership of General Chair Bambang Haryadi," Supratman said at the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, Friday, January 31.

"Thus, on this occasion the government has acknowledged and we hope that with the recognition and registration of its legal entity, which we will immediately record in the Legal Entity Administration System at the Ministry of Law, we will carry out this process immediately," he said.
Supratman hopes that this will be a new milestone in the history of the cooperative movement in the country and ending all polemics related to Dekopin.
On this occasion, Bambang Haryadi thanked the Ministry of Law and Human Rights for inaugurating the management of Dekopin as a result of the 27-29 December 2025 National Conference.
"Alhamdulillah, after we reported on January 15, today we have received an answer that the results of the National Conference have been recognized by the government," said Bambang.
He hopes that in the future Dekopin at all levels, both Dekopinwil and Dekopinda, can cooperate with the government. He also admitted that he wanted to harmonize the Dekopin program with President Prabowo Subianto's government vision.
"Because we want to harmonize the program from Mr. Prabowo's government so that future cooperatives will become one of the drivers of our people's economy," he said.
He also hopes that there will be no more dualism in Dekopin. In the future, Bambang wants to strengthen all sectors, including food security, through Dekopin which he leads.
"So later there will be village-owned cooperatives as desired by the government, which will be revived in the agriculture, plantation, fisheries, and livestock sectors in order to boost our people's economy," he said.
"Hopefully Dekopin will be more victorious in the future and can help the government in improving the welfare of the Indonesian people," he said.
