A 48-year-old Woman Disappeared In The Cengkeh Gardens, Fear When Found By The Natuna Basarnas

KEPRI - Natuna Basarnas in the Riau Islands (Kepri) managed to find a middle-aged woman who was missing in a clove garden in a safe condition.

Head of KPP Natuna Abdul Rahman said the victim was found approximately eight hours after being declared missing on Monday, January 27, 2025 at 21.50 WIB. The victim was found 700 meters from the last location where the victim was reported missing, in a state of fear and fatigue.

"The victim has been found by the Joint SAR Team on duty in the Pulau Laut District," he said in Natuna, confiscated by Antara, Sunday, January 28.

The victim named Anyus alias Yusni (48) is known to have disappeared in a clove garden in Laut Island District. Her loss was first discovered by her husband during a break, after harvesting cloves.

The victim's husband was looking for him, but until the afternoon the sign of the victim's whereabouts was not found, then her husband decided to report it to the local village head, who was eventually reported after the victim was found missing for approximately four hours or at 18.20 WIB to KPP Natuna.

After being found, the victim was taken to his house and given medical treatment by local health workers.

With the discovery of the victim, SAR operations were officially closed, and all elements involved, such as the Sea Island SAR Alert Unit, TNI, Polri, local government, as well as residents, returned to their respective units and residences.

"After the SAR operation is declared complete, all personnel return to their respective homes," he said.

Previously, Basarnas Natuna looked for a middle-aged woman who was reported missing in a clove garden on the island of the Sea on Monday, January 27.

Information on the disappearance of the victim was received on Monday afternoon at 18.20 WIB, and the search process began at 18.40 WIB after the SAR team coordinated and prepared.

"The loss of the victim was first reported by the Head of Tanjung Pala Village, Yaswir, to the Sea Island SAR Alert Unit. We immediately monitored the information and immediately deployed SAR elements on Laut Island to carry out search efforts," said Abdul.
