"Comparable nutritious food can be obtained from simple food ingredients that are easily accessible. The key is the right variation and composition," he said.

Hersiani gave an example, for children aged 6-8 months, vegetables and fruit act as additional food. However, after the age of two years and over, vegetables and fruit become mandatory components in the dining menu.

"Similarly, adults, vegetables and fruit are an inseparable part of the dining plate," he said.

He appealed to the public to be more careful in choosing and serving food for families.
