Youth Who Died In A Fire In Cakung Turns Out To Have A Stroke, It's Difficult To Save Yourself

JAKARTA - ZM (37), a young man who was roasted to death in his house in Cakung, East Jakarta, turned out to be in a state of stroke. When the fire broke out, the victim could not save himself.

"The object caught fire on a 2-story house with an area burned 50 square meters. The cause is suspected to be an electrical short," said Head of East Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept., Abdul Wahid when confirmed, Friday, January 24, afternoon.

According to witness testimony, it started when sparks appeared in the ceiling of the victim's 2nd floor. Then the fire grew bigger and burned the entire area on the 2nd floor.

"It turned out that there were people who were sick with a stroke who could not save themselves and became victims of a fire. The victim of 1 person with the initials ZM (37)," he said.

As previously reported, a young man named Zaenal Mustofa (37) was found dead with a burning body condition when a fire burned his house on Jalan Kandang Sapi, East Cakung Village, Cakung District, East Jakarta, Friday, January 24, afternoon.

The fire incident was reported to the East Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept., which occurred at around 15:34 WIB. A total of 6 fire engines with 30 personnel were then deployed to the scene.

"The object caught fire in the residential building. The cause is still being investigated," said one firefighter.

The fire was extinguished at around 16.15 WIB by 30 personnel. As a result of the fire, one person was declared dead.
