JAKARTA - A total of nine Real Sociedad supporters were injured in downtown Rome, Italy, during a clash with Lazio supporters ahead of the European League match.

About 70 Spanish supporters were attacked by about 80 Lazio supporters at Via Leonina, near the Colosseum, at around 11 p.m. on Wednesday, January 22 local time.

As reported by Reuters on Thursday, January 23, six of the nine injured were taken to hospital, and four have been discharged. Of the two people who are still being treated in hospital, one is in critical condition.
