KPK Sends A Call For Wealth Clarification To The Head Of BPJN West Kalimantan Dedy Mandarsyah Today

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) said the wealth clarification summons to the Head of BPJN West Kalimantan, Dedy Mandarsyah, had been sent today, Tuesday, January 21. He apparently did not convey all the assets owned in the state administrator's wealth report (LHKPN).

"Today we issued an invitation letter to clarify him. The reason is because according to the data we got there are still a lot of significant assets, sums, quantities and values that we have not seen at the LHKPN," said KPK Deputy for Prevention and Monitoring Pahala Nainggolan to reporters at the KPK's Red and White Building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Tuesday, January 21.

Pahala did not specify the assets that were not in Dedy's report. He only confirmed that these findings were obtained after tracing from banking accounts to insurance ownership.

"We have received from the assistance and insurance of financial transactions in the name of his and his wife's accounts. For these two reasons, we compared it with the LHKPN, so we invited him to clarify," he said.

As for the summons, Pahala did not explain the time. He only said that the LHKPN Directorate was waiting for Dedy's presence at the KPK's Merah Putih building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta.

The reason for waiting for this, continued Pahala, is because the verification of wealth reports is only in the realm of prevention. So there is no coercive nature like during the process of investigating corruption cases.

"At the same time, we also communicated with the Inspector General of the Ministry of Public Works to both add data, information including if there is a follow-up that needs to be done," said Pahala.

As previously reported, the Head of BPJN West Kalimantan, Dedy Mandarsyah, was in the spotlight after his son, Lady, was suspected of being the trigger for the persecution of a coas doctor in Palembang in early December 2024. Netizens skinned his wealth at that time.

Dedy is known to convey LHKPN on March 14, 2024. His total assets are Rp9,426,451,869 or more than Rp9.4 billion.

It was recorded that he had assets in the form of land and buildings worth Rp. 750 million. The details are land and buildings covering an area of 33.8 m2 in South Jakarta worth Rp. 200 million; land and buildings covering an area of 33.8 m2 in South Jakarta worth Rp. 200 million; and land and buildings covering an area of 36 m2 in South Jakarta worth Rp. 350 million

Dedy also reported other assets in the form of a Honda CR-V car in 2019 worth IDR 450 million. He also has movable assets of IDR 830 million; securities of IDR 670.7 million; and cash and cash equivalents of IDR 6,725,751,869.
