JAKARTA - The act of sexual harassment at the AD-Diniyah Islamic Boarding School (Ponpes), Duren Sawit, East Jakarta is like a harsh slap in the world of religious education. How not, the suspect with the initials MCN is the caretaker of the students at the boarding school

The MCN suspect lured the three victims by giving pocket money and special facilities to the three students who were victims of sodomy.

"The victim was given special facilities by the suspect and given Rp20 to Rp50,000 after doing so," said East Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Nicolas Ary Lilipaly to reporters, Tuesday, January 21, 2025.

In addition, the suspect also often invited the three victims to vacation at Ancol tourist attractions after committing the depraved act.

"Then the victim was invited to take a walk and given a cellphone," he said.

Previously reported, MCN, a caregiver at the AD-Diniyah Islamic Boarding School (Ponpes), Jalan Masjid Kampung Tipar, RT 09/07, Pondok Kelapa Village, Duren Sawit District, East Jakarta, has been carrying out acts of sexual harassment against students since 2021.

"The perpetrator has committed this act from 2021 to 2024. The perpetrator has been detained and faces up to 15 years in prison," said East Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Nicolas Ary Lilipaly to reporters, Tuesday, January 21, 2025.
