Thousands Of Honorary Demands Appointment To Be PPPK To The Bengkulu Provincial Government

BENGKULU - Thousands of honorary employees demanded the appointment to become Government Employees with a Work Agreement (PPPK) to the Bengkulu Provincial Government through a demonstration today.

"First of all, we raise R2 and R3 (honorary who has entered the BKN data) which had tested the first phase yesterday to become full-time PPPK, here there are more than 1,300 honorary representatives who gather to express their aspirations," said Bengkulu Province Non-Permanent Employee Forum Chair Eflin Suryadi in Bengkulu, Antara, Wednesday, January 15.

Then, continued Eflin, the chairman of the R2 and R3 forums of Bengkulu Province provided more incentives that had been removed for honorary educators. "Then re-employ the honorarium that has been laid off starting January 1, 2025," he said.

Efflin said that currently the number of honorariums that have not been appointed as PPPK has entered the BKN data for R2 and R3 has reached more than 3,000 people.

"For 2,203 technical personnel, and only 100 PPPK formations have been opened, then 1,219 teachers and 400 formations have been provided, 100 health workers have formations, and for the number of honorary workers we have not received data from forums for health workers," he said.

He hopes that the formation provided is in accordance with the number of honorary staff who have not been appointed in 2025. The forum also asks that there be no action to lay off honorary officials carried out by the Bengkulu Provincial Government agencies.

"Local governments must follow the rules of employment, and also provide guarantees of appointment for non-permanent employees who have not yet been appointed as PPPK," said Efflin, who has also served as an honorary for 14 years.
