JRP Denies It Is Responsible For Making Tangerang Sea Pagar

JAKARTA - The Coordinator of the Pantura People's Network (JRP), Shandi Martapraja, denied that his party was responsible for making a sea fence on the Tangerang coast. According to Shandi, JRP only made observations to the coastal community of Tangerang.

"I remember very well, that I played many times (the audio scene). There is no talk like that (responsibility). My capacity straightens out the information. I don't know, the way the media can be like that (mentioning the person in charge). What is clear is the benchmark in the statement (statement) at doorstop. As for the press conference, it's a conflict (different)," Shandi said when confirmed, Wednesday, January 15.

In addition, Shandi said that JRP only conducts sampling in each village, then jumps directly to see if the benefits of the sea fence are.

"After the survey, after random sampling, then we cross-check the truth in the field. Get on the boat. It turns out that someone dived and took green shells and all kinds of things. Yes, it means there are good benefits," he said.

"People say to break the waves. Even though this is not effective and everything is wrong, this is what we can do. Yes, it's only limited to that," he continued.

It should be noted, a number of media reported that JRP claimed that it was his party responsible for the construction of the Tangerang sea fence. JRP in the news said that the cost of making the Tangerang sea fence was self-help from local residents.

Separately, Shandi's statement received a response from a fisherman on the island named Heru. Heru said that what Shandi said was contradictory.

In fact, the fishermen struggled with the existence of the sea fence. Not only that, Heru also denied that it was the residents who made the sea fence.

"There doesn't seem to be any to empower it. Because at that time there was a workforce and it was paid. I'm not from Kronjo yet," Heru said when asked if the residents made the fence.
