The Attorney General Conveyed 4 Points To The Ranks, 1 Among The Corruption Eradication Models

JAKARTA - Attorney General ST Burhanuddin asked all his staff to realize a model of corruption prosecution accompanied by improvement of the state revenue system.

He made this statement when giving a speech at the opening of the 2025 National Working Meeting (Rakernas) of the Republic of Indonesia Prosecutor's Office at The Sultan Hotel & Residence Jakarta, January 14 to 16, 2025.

"The purpose of the corruption prosecution model is accompanied by improvements in governance in order to support bureaucratic and legal reform and to improve the state revenue system," said Burhanuddin, Tuesday, January 14.

In addition, Burhanuddin also conveyed three other things such as strengthening the prosecutor's office as a central authority for the recovery of national assets and Rupbasan; optimizing the contribution and active role of the Prosecutor's Office in welcoming the implementation of the National Criminal Code and drafting its implementing regulations, as well as overseeing changes to the Criminal Procedure Code.

Then, the pattern of forming a standardized and professional Prosecutor's Apparatus as a role model for law enforcement.

The Attorney General also invited the ranks not to do anything counterproductive to the spirit of institutional development.

"Assign tasks by relying on objective and measurable ratios, actions in accordance with the procedural law corridors and applicable laws and regulations," he said.

Not to forget, Burhanuddin called the National Working Meeting a strategic forum to align the policy direction of the Prosecutor's Office with the vision and mission that has been set for the period 2025-2029.

Meanwhile, the Prosecutor's Office's vision to become a pioneer in fair, humanist, accountable, transparent and modern law enforcement, was then carried out through the five main missions of the Prosecutor's Office, namely:

1. Establish the enforcement of a just and legal rule of national law, as well as strengthen the upholding of restorative justice based on human rights.

2. Strengthen public awareness and obedience to the law in order to build a law-organized culture that is solid

3. Organizing case handling and excellent public services based on information technology.

4. Strengthening the management of the Prosecutor's Office in law enforcement and public services.

5. Form an apparatus of the Prosecutor's Office that is a role model for law enforcers who are professional and with integrity.
