Deputy General Chairperson (Waketum) of the NasDem Party, Ahmad Ali visited the residence of the presidential candidate who won the 2024 presidential election, Prabowo Subianto on Jalan Kertanegara IV, South Jakarta on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 night. Previously, the General Chairperson of the NasDem Party, Surya Paloh, said that he would support the government that would be led by Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka as the winner of the 2024 presidential election. This, said Surya, was also agreed by PKB after holding a closed meeting with PKB General Chair Muhaimin Iskandar and party officials. "What is certain is that the consensus and agreement of the government requires mutual assistance, requires support, because of the situation and threats faced against us as a nation today," said Surya at NasDem Tower, Menteng, Central Jakarta, Tuesday, April 23. According to Surya, the problems that Indonesia will face in the future are predicted to be more complex. Prabowo-Gibran, according to him, needed support to continue the road to development. "So, maintaining and maintaining the objectivity condition of our national stability is a top priority for both NasDem and PKB," said Surya. However, Surya said that NasDem and PKB as parties that had participated in the coalition to carry the presidential and vice presidential candidates Anies Baswedan and Muhaimin Iskandar had not yet decided whether to join the Prabowo government or be on the opposition line.

What is clear is that after the decision of the Constitutional Court (MK) rejected the request for a presidential election dispute in 2024, the party that carried Anies-Muhaimin accepted his defeat. "The new government, which is indeed led by Mas Prabowo and Gibran, must be able to get appreciation, opportunities to run the government administration wheels. It is not automatic, we have decided whether we are in the government, or we are outside the government," he explained.
