JAKARTA - The Police Mobile Brigade (Brimob) sent six of the best female police officers (Polwan) to join the Nemangkawi Task Force to strengthen Operation Nemangkawi in Papua.

"There are six of our policewomen who went to Papua. Our policewoman is a Brimob Police. When the state calls, she is ready. Then our Polwan is a tough policewoman, we prove it. This is a form of state responsibility for the Police Mobile Brigade Corps", said the Head of the Police Mobile Brigade Corps, Inspector General Anang Revandoko in his speech which was reported by Antara, Friday, March 5.

Anang said the six Brimob policewomen officers had been trained and would be tested for their toughness in Tanah Cenderawsih.

The sending of six policewomen aims to protect the land of Papua from the threat of the Armed Criminal Group (KKB).

"Six policewomen will also work together with TNI members", he said.

According to Anang, the National Police's sending of six Brimob Policewomen officers in a challenging humanitarian operation was an extraordinary event.

Previously, the National Police Chief, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, assessed that maintaining the security of the Land of Papua from the KKB interference was considered good.

This four-star general appreciates the performance of the Nemangkawi Task Force which was successfully inscribed while serving in Papua.

"Many achievements have been made by the Nemangkawi Task Force in carrying out the task of capturing and securing the perpetrators. I appreciate all Nemangkawi operation personnel", said Chief Sigit.

The National Police Chief also reminded us that the threat of KKB has been increasing recently. So that the Nemangkawi Task Force, must increase its vigilance as well and observing the issues related to the Special Autonomy Bill.

"Beware of the power of their propaganda, prepare a strategy to deal with it. Instill to them that the red and white flag is still flying", the message of the former Banten Police Chief.

Ipda Listra, one of the six Brimob Policewomen, felt the honor of having an important task. She hopes to be able to carry out Operation Nemangkawi with her colleagues and bring the best results for Indonesia.

Ipda Listra and her five colleagues tried to appear brave and tough, after undergoing a series of special exercises.

"My message in the future, we policewomen must be more resilient. Don't just tell people outside, that we are policewomen just because we are women, we cannot. But we Polwan must be able to see the situation and conditions that occur", said Ipda Lystra.

Ipda Listra and her colleagues also hope that they can complete their tasks well and return with the same number of formations.

"We go completely, return home complete with the best results for the nation and country", said Ipda Listra.
