JAKARTA - The National Food Agency (Bapanas) has set the Corn Purchase Reference Price (HAP) with a water level of 15 percent from the previous Rp4,200 per kilogram, up to Rp5,000 per kilogram.

The flexibility of corn HAP at the producer and corn HAP levels will take effect from April 25, 2024 to May 31.

Previously, the Government of Bima Regency and the Government of Dompu Regency, NTB Province proposed adjustments to HAP for corn commodities with water levels of 15 percent to Rp5,000 per kilogram to the central government through Badanas.

"We propose to Badanas, represented by the Director of Stabilization and Supply of Food Prices, to immediately adjust the price of corn to Rp. 5,000 per kilogram," said the Acting Regional Secretary (Sekda) of Bima Regency, Suwandi.
