KPK Will Increase Allegations Of Corruption PT Taspen To Investigation

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) said allegations of corruption in PT Tabungan and Asuransi Pegawai Negeri (Taspen) would go up to investigation. Administrative settlement is still being carried out.

This was conveyed by the Head of the KPK News Section, Ali Fikri, when asked for a response regarding the continuation of the investigation that had been carried out. He said the information was still closed tightly because the order for the start of the investigation had not yet been issued.

"Yes, we are still in the process of completing the administration and we cannot convey it. Why? Because this will cause perception," Ali told reporters quoted on Wednesday, February 21.

Ali said this administrative process took a long time because they wanted everything to go according to the procedure. He doesn't know for sure when all the required equipment will be completed.

Ali only said that everything would be conveyed openly in due course. People are asked to be patient.

"If the suspect is one, maybe it can be fast. If the suspect is more than ten, he needs a lot (time, ed)," he said.

Previously reported, the KPK had examined Rina Lauwy, who is the ex-wife of the President Director of PT Taspen, Antonius Nicholas Stephanus Kosasih on Friday, September 1, 2023. He admitted that he was asked for information regarding the investigation into alleged corruption.

At that time, Rina said that her summons had no suspect's name attached. Even so, she has submitted 39 bank statements to investigators, some of which belonged to her ex-husband.
