The number of polling stations (TPS) affected by flooding in East Jakarta has received additional time from the East Jakarta General Election Commission (KPU) for residents who want to exercise their voting rights in the 2024 General Election.
Head of the East Jakarta KPU Technical Division, Carlos Paath, said that for polling stations that started voting at 09.00 WIB, an additional time was given until 15.00 WIB.
"Because the TPS was affected by the flood and opened late, there was an additional time in accordance with the start of the vote," said Carlos Paath when confirmed, Wednesday, February 14.
Carlos asked the Voting Organizing Group (KPPS) officers to make records of special incidents, such as flood cases.
"We ask the KPPS to make a special incident record and carry out services as long as the ballot is still available," he said.
