PEKANBARU - Chairperson of the Indonesian Child Protection Agency (LPAI) Seto Mulyadi visited Pekanbaru City, Riau to follow up on the alleged molestation case that befell one of the kindergarten students (TK). Arriving at the house of the 5-year-old boy, the alleged sexual violence committed by his classmate, the man who is familiarly called Kak Seto immediately talked with his parents and saw the condition of the victim N.Kak Seto also took the time to play with his child. After visiting the media, Kak Seto explained that communication between parents and N was very communicative. N is also quite intelligent. His home environment is very child-friendly, full of toys. According to him, a child-friendly home environment is one of the capital to deal with psychological cases if the child is caught in a problem. "We will also immediately contact the closest psychologist to be able to provide more professional treatment so that it can be handled quickly. If not, it is as feared by the child's father, he is afraid to be a perpetrator in the future," said Kak Seto, in his statement, Thursday, January 18.

His party also appreciated the performance of the Pekanbaru Police who were considered quick to intervene in handling this problem. He hopes that there will be quick treatment of the school. In addition, Kak Seto urged the Pekanbaru City Education Office to provide guidance to schools. This is because schools must be child-friendly, as is the case with the Child Protection Law that every school is obliged to maintain that there is no violence against children, either by fellow students or teachers. "Don't let the same thing happen again. Please go to school to feel this incident and take responsibility for it," he concluded.
