The province with the most contested regional vote count results was North Sumatra with 10 districts / cities. Furthermore, Papua and North Maluku with seven applications for the election of regents and / or mayors each.

Then, Lampung has 6 requests to dispute the election results. Gorontalo and Papua each have 5 requests. Southeast Sulawesi, NTT, and South Sumatra each with 4 requests.

Then, Maluku, Southeast Sulawesi, Central Java, West Java, Bengkulu, Riau, West Sumatra have 3 requests each.

South Sulawesi, North Kalimantan, East Kalimantan, South Kalimantan and Riau Islands each have 2 requests.

Furthermore, Central Kalimantan, West Kalimantan, Banten and Jambi each had 2 requests.

"Disputes over the election results were submitted from Wednesday, December 16 to Sunday, December 20, 2020," said Hashim.

Furthermore, most applications submitted by one of the losing regional head candidate pairs do not agree with the vote count results of the local regency / municipality or provincial KPU.
