President Jokowi Will Attend The 2022 GPDRR In Bali

JAKARTA - Indonesian President Joko Widodo paid a working visit to Bali Province, Wednesday, May 25, to attend the Opening Ceremony of The 7th Global Platform for Disaster Risk Reduction (GPDRR) 2022.

The President accompanied by First Lady Iriana Joko Widodo left for Bali using the Indonesia-1 Presidential Aircraft, from Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, Tangerang, Wednesday, May 25 morning.

Based on a written statement received in Jakarta, upon arrival at I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport, Badung Regency, Bali Province, the President will start the activity by heading to Kreneng Market in Denpasar City to deliver a number of social assistance for the beneficiary communities and traders.

After that, the President will go directly to the Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center (BNDCC), Badung Regency, to attend the Opening Ceremony of The 7th Global Platform for Disaster Risk Reduction (GPDRR) 2022.

The President is scheduled to have a meeting with the Vice President of Zambia W.K. Mutale Nalumango.

Also accompanying the President and Mrs. Iriana on the flight to Bali Province were Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung, Head of the Presidential Secretariat Heru Budi Hartono, Military Secretary to President Marsda TNI M. Tonny Harjono, Commander of Paspampres Major General TNI Tri Budi Utomo, Deputy for Protocol, Press, and Media Secretariat of the President Bey Machmudin, and Coordinator of the Presidential Special Staff Ari Dwipayana.
