JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan is scheduled to fly overseas on Tuesday, May 10 tomorrow. Anies will tour three countries for eight days.

This was confirmed by the Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta, Ahmad Riza Patria.

"The plan is that tomorrow night (Anies does) have an agenda to Europe, to several countries, including London (England), Berlin (Germany), and Paris (France). Meanwhile, Riza said at DKI City Hall, Monday, May 9. .

Riza said Anies went to Europe with the agenda of fulfilling the invitation of a forum related to transportation issues to follow up on transportation cooperation.

"First, following up on transportation cooperation, including financing for the MRT and other transportation. Second, fulfilling invitations from the community there regarding mobility and transportation. The third is related to Sister City, Smart City, and so on," explained Riza.

Previously, Anies traveled abroad in 2019. Anies was the keynote speaker of The Pyramid's Annual Post-AGM Gala Dinner which was held in Singapore on May 3 2019, then attended the Urban 20 (U20) Major Summit Agenda meeting in Japan on May 20-21 2019.

Then, Anies attended The World Cities Summit Mayors Forum 2019 in the United States. His visit to Uncle Sam's country was also at the same time exploring plans for a Formula E title.
