Kemenpora Which Criticized By Netizens Because Red And White Not Flying In Thomas Cup In Fact Becomes The Best Performing Ministry
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Youth and Sports (Kemenpora) was severely attacked by the public because the Red and White Flag could not fly when Indonesia won the Thomas Cup. But the results of research by the National Independent Survey Institute (LSIN), the Ministry of Youth and Sports is one of the ministries that has good performance.
LSIN has released the results of a survey related to public perceptions of public satisfaction with the performance of the ministers of the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet and the Ministry of Youth and Sports being one of the five ministries that are considered the best performers.
"The performance of the Ministers of the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet is considered good by the public with a percentage of 54%. However, the bad number is quite high, namely 13% and this should be a separate record for ministers," said Executive Director of LSIN, Yasin Mohammad in his official statement, Sunday, October 31.
According to him, in the survey conducted, it was found that five ministries were considered by the public to be performing well. When the survey was conducted, respondents were asked who was the minister and which ministry had the best and worst performance?
"The findings of the LSIN survey show that there are five ministers with the best performance according to the public, namely the Ministry of Education and Culture in the first place, the second is the Ministry of PUPR, the third is the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, the fourth is the Ministry of Defense, and the fifth is the Ministry of Youth and Sports," Yasin Mohammad added, quoted from Antara.

Yasin explained that the Ministry of Education and Culture ranks first as the best ministry according to respondents with 9.0%, followed by the Ministry of PUPR with 8.4%. Then there is the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy with 7.5%, the Ministry of Defense 6.0%, and the Ministry of Youth and Sports with 4.8% percent.
According to Yasin, the Ministry of Youth and Sports received the best assessment after being judged to be able to score many achievements from athletes, especially in the past year.
"The Ministry of Youth and Sports was given the best results because it scored many achievements from athletes, while the Ministry of Education and Culture provided a lot of assistance to the community, stimulus to students," he explained.
Meanwhile, the top five worst ministers are currently occupied by the Ministry of Social Affairs, the second Ministry of Health, the third Kemenkumham, the fourth Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries, and the Ministry of Religion.
This survey was conducted in the period from 8-15 October 2021 and involved 1,200 respondents from 34 provinces in Indonesia using the telepolling method of data collection. The margin of error is around 2.8 percent with a confidence level of 95 percent.
