The Company Owned By Conglomerates TP Rachmat And Boy Thohir Temporarily Suspends Anomia's Subsidiary Factory
JAKARTA - The management of PT Surya Esa Perkasa Tbk (ESSA) said that it had temporarily suspended the ammonia factory owned by its subsidiary, PT Panca Amara Utama (PAU) as of October 11, 2021.
In an information disclosure on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) website, quoted on Friday, October 22, the temporary suspension of the ammonia plant was due to the company, owned by conglomerates TP Rachmat and Garibaldi 'Boy' Thohir, currently carrying out its first turnaround maintenance since commissioning the plant.
Turnaround maintenance is a very important activity for the sustainability of the factory and is carried out when the factory is in a state of shutdown.
"Including replacement and corrective maintenance of equipment and catalysts, which will last for one month", explained ESSA Corporate Secretary, Erfine Kumala Furi, in a written statement.
