Golkar Party's High Target in the 2024 Election, Airlangga: At Least Win the Presidential Election, 20 percent of the Legislative Election, 60 percent of the Regional Head Election

JAKARTA - The determination of the Golkar Party to restore the glory of the 2004 General Election in the 2024 General Election seems to be unanimous.

Chairman of the Golkar Party Central Executive Board (DPP), Airlangga Hartarto, has targeted that in 2024 he must win at least the presidential election (Pilpres). Meanwhile, the target for obtaining seats in the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI) is at least 20 percent.

"For the presidential election, we have to win at least, so please look for the maximum. But at least our presidential candidate must win," said Airlangga in his Tasyakuran remarks and Building Inauguration at the Golkar Party DPP, Jalan Anggrek Nelly Murni, Slipi, West Jakarta, Wednesday, October 20.

Meanwhile, for the Regional Head Election (Pilkada), Airlangga targets Golkar to win at least 60 percent.

"This 60 percent is an achievement that we have produced. So we have reached 62 percent. So indeed 60 percent is a measurable number," he said.

Therefore, the Coordinating Minister for the Economy invited the Golkar cadres and all stakeholders to unite their determination and close ranks.

"I invite all to unite our determination and we will close ranks. We have one narrative, we also have a joint effort for the victory of the Golkar Party," said Airlangga.

Airlangga added that Golkar had three more years to consolidate, gather strength and gain public sympathy.

"There are still 3 years ahead, we will consolidate our strength, unite our steps, win the sympathy of the people, win the hearts of the people so that the people will put their trust in the Golkar Party," he said.
