Many Dreams Want To Be Achieved With Leicester, Brendan Rodgers Is Not Interested In Dealing With Newcastle Which Was Bought By Saudi Arabia's Prince

JAKARTA - The current Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers insists he is not interested in managing Newcastle United. Rumors blow, Rodger has the opportunity to take over the position of Steve Bruce.

Bruce is expected to be relieved of his duties as Magpies boss following the recent takeover of the Saudi Arabia-led Public Investment Fund.

Rodgers has led Leicester since 2019 and has since led them to success in the FA Cup and Community Shield in 2021.

As reported by Sky Sports, Friday, October 15, Rodgers has no intention of taking over from Bruce and is much happier at Leicester. He believes there is still much to be achieved with his current players.

Lampard vs Gerrard?

Former England midfielders Frank Lampard and Steven Gerrard have also been touted as potential replacements for Bruce.

Although both of them are still very new in the management chair, they have shown themselves capable of guiding the team.

Gerrard arguably more successful so far. He led Glasgow Rangers to the 2020/21 Scottish Premiership title, their first in 10 years.

Lampard, on the other hand, spent a season at Derby County, leading them to the Championship play-off final, before moving to the club that made his name as a player, Chelsea.

In his first season as manager at Stamford Bridge, Lampard led his side to a fourth league and FA Cup final finish, but he only lasted four months in his second season before being sacked and replaced by Thomas Tuchel.

Lampard currently has no job. Meaning, it would make more sense for him to land the role of manager of the Magpies.

However, the speculation of a new Newcastle manager does not end there. There are still the likes of Arsene Wenger, Lucien Favre, Eddie Howe, and Antonio Conte.
