Risma Distributes Aid And Empowers Marginalized Groups In NTB
JAKARTA - Minister of Social Affairs, Tri Rismaharini, distributes aid and empowers marginalized groups to East Lombok Regency, Sumbawa Regency, and Mataram City, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB).
Risma also distributes assistance for persons with disabilities, orphans, and orphans, as well as the elderly. The types of assistance include accessibility assistance, Social Rehabilitation Assistance (ATENSI), nutritional and vitamin assistance, as well as entrepreneurship assistance for 385 people, with a total value of more than IDR 700 million.
"With this assistance, it is hoped that it will help marginalized groups achieve economic independence and in turn accelerate the handling of poverty in some areas of NTB", said Risma as quoted by Antara, Wednesday, October 13.
In more detail, Risma said that in East Lombok the aid was handed over to 229 beneficiaries with a value of IDR 493,150,000. Specifically for PKH Graduation participants, five people were assisted IDR 2.5 million each.
Assistance was given in the form of food packages, flour, and coffee grinding machines, tempeh steamers, 150 kg of tempeh raw materials, and a refrigerator.
The assistance in Mataram City will symbolically be given by the Minister of Social Affairs to 153 beneficiaries at Balai Paramitha with a value of IDR 242.479 million. In this place, the Minister of Social Affairs will at the same time inaugurate the Attention Creation Center (SKA).
"SKA is one of the important pillars in the poverty management strategy implemented by the Ministry of Social Affairs, apart from the social assistance instrument", said the Minister of Social Affairs.

Through the SKA, the Ministry of Social Affairs strengthens the vocational and social entrepreneurship capabilities of the poorest/marginalized/neglected groups (extreme poverty).
Here, they are also connected with economic networks so that their work can find potential buyers. SKA prepares job opportunities, increases socio-economic independence, and improves social welfare. SKA also provides shopping and recreation areas within an area.
In addition to distributing aid, Risma also dreams of evaluating the mechanism for distributing social assistance and matching data on the Family Hope Program (PKH) and Non-Cash Food Assistance (BPNT)/Basic Food Cards.
