A Convict Who Escaped From Kerobokan Prison Was Shot For Fighting, Had Stolen 2 Motorcycles On The Run
BADUNG - The Badung Police Team, Bali, arrested convict I Gede Loka Wiaya who escaped from the Class IIA Kerobokan Prison, Bali. This escaped convict was arrested in Denpasar.
During the arrest, this prisoner resisted by removing a cutter knife. The police shot him in the right leg.
"Therefore, take firm action against Loka in order to paralyze the person concerned so that he no longer fights," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Badung Police, I Putu Ika Prabawa Kartima Utama, Monday, October 11.
The prisoner escaped on the evening of Saturday, October 2 after jumping off the wall next to the emergency exit. He then took an online motorcycle taxi to Denpasar and then took a truck to Mengwi Terminal.

At Mengwi Terminal, this prisoner was picked up by his friend and went straight to Jembrana. This prisoner on the run also stole a motorbike at the Baluk Village inn, Jembrana. He also stole another motorbike in Jembrana.
"And the Honda Supra Fit motorbike was left at the inn. Then he returned to Denpasar," said Ika.
The evidence that was secured from this prisoner was a Honda Vario motorbike, a cutter including IDR 180 thousand in cash.
"Based on the results of the interrogation carried out when the inmate escaped, he committed the crime of motorcycle theft twice," said Ika.
