The Pharmacy Warehouse At The Mintoharjo Benhil Hospital Is Smashed By Fire, Hundreds Of PPE Are Burned
JAKARTA - The warehouse for personal protective equipment (PPE) at the TNI AL Mintohardjo Hospital, Bendungan Hilir Street, Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta was completely destroyed by fire. The fire is thought to have originated from a short circuit.
Head of Sub-dept. Head of Central Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept., said that his party received a report of a fire at around 05.00 western Indonesia time.
"What caught fire was the Pharmacy warehouse which contained PPE on the second floor. We suspect the fire was caused by an electrical short circuit," Unggul told reporters, Sunday, October 10.
Unggul said officers came to the location at 05.15 western Indonesia time and immediately tried to extinguish the fire. The fire was controlled until it cooled down until 06.40 western Indonesia time.

"We managed to extinguish the fire, and it did not spread widely. There were no casualties from this fire incident," he explained.
There are 50 firefighters and 10 fire engines deployed to extinguish the fire.
While the burned area is approximately 40 square meters (m²).
"The fires that hit hospitals that must be watched out for are B3 waste," he said.
