Police Reveals Murder Case At Wedding Anniversary Party In North Minahasa

JAKARTA - The Resmob Team of the North Minahasa Police, North Sulawesi (North Sulawesi) arrested a suspect in the alleged murder that took place in Kolongan Village, Kalawat District, Sunday.

Head of Public Relations of the North Sulawesi Regional Police Grand Commissioner Jules Abraham Abast, in Manado, said the male suspect with the initials NL, a resident of Kolongan Village, was arrested by the police in Sukur Village approximately three and a half hours after the incident.

"The suspect was immediately taken by the resmob team to the North Minahasa Police Headquarters for further investigation," said Abast, quoted by Antara, Monday, September 4th.

He said this incident occurred at a wedding anniversary party of a resident in Kolongan Jaga II Village.

At first the victim, Andre Kaligis, argued and beat a woman named Jean Jenifer.

Not long after, the victim fell and was covered in blood from the left side of his chest.

Residents who were around were surprised and spontaneously asked who stabbed Andre, and the suspect NL answered that he stabbed the victim.

The victim was immediately taken by residents to the Walanda Maramis Hospital, while the suspect immediately left the scene of the case for Sukur.

"It is suspected that the suspect stabbed the victim because he felt hurt by hitting the suspect's sister," he said.
