Amien Rais Appears And Talks 5 Dangers Of G30S/PKI
JAKARTA - Long gone from the national political constellation, the Chairman of the Shura Council of the Ummat Party, Amien Rais, appeared and spoke about the 5 dangers of betrayal by the Indonesian Communist Party (PKI) in 1965 or the G30S PKI.
According to him, the rebellion or betrayal of the G30S PKI was the most dangerous and barbaric compared to the previous rebellions. He reminded that this movement is at the highest risk if it happens again.
The former chairman of Muhammadiyah Central Executive Board (PP) said there were at least five reasons why it was so dangerous. First, said Amien, the PKI never had a truly patriotic belief in nationalism.
"Communists everywhere always have international networks and sometimes become underdogs of the more powerful communist forces. In the past, if they weren't oriented to Moscow, they went to Beijing," Amien said, quoted from the Amien Rais Official YouTube channel, Friday, October 1.
Second, the former chairman of the People's Consultative Assembly of the Republic of Indonesia (MPR) continued, the PKI and the communists were clearly atheists. It means anti-God, anti-religion, do not believe in the afterlife.
"So of course it is diametrically opposed to all religious beliefs, and this is something we all know," he said.
Third, because they do not believe in God, Amin said, the immoral principle is the goal to justify the means. So, according to him, lying, deceiving, slandering, trapping, and torturing, are typical of communists.

Fourth, continued Amien, human life for adherents of communism is not more important than the life of a guinea pig or rabbit. "They, killing is very easy, as if they know no sin," said Amien.
Fifth, added Amien, the communists in Indonesia are indeed more vicious and more dangerous for our own nation.
"Moreover, nowadays we see that there is a wide opportunity to plan to seize state power," he concluded.
Previously, the General Chair of the Ummat Party, Ridho Rahmadi, also reminded the cadres to watch a film about the G30S/PKI incident.
