Let's Listen! Synopsis Of 7 Latest Korean Dramas In October 2021

JAKARTA - It's no secret that the popularity of Korean dramas continues to this day. Throughout October, there will be six new Korean dramas premiering.

This drama is also the comeback of several actors and actresses, one of which is Jun Ji Hyun who is back with her latest drama after The Legend of the Blue Sea in 2016.

The King's Affection (11 October)

The kingdom welcomes a pair of twin boys and girls but this is a bad sign. One day, their son died and the daughter was banished from the kingdom.

The girl returns and disguises herself as Prince Lee Hwi (Park Eun Bin) to stay in the kingdom. There he is taught by a teacher named Jung Ji-Woon (Ro Woon) who makes him fall in love. The King's Affection will air on KBS2 and Netflix.

Reflection of You (October 13)

Hee-Joo (Ko Hyun-Jung) is a successful artist. Her husband is the future leader of the hospital and their household is going well. On the other hand, Hee-Joo feels her life has no meaning.

Then Hee-Joo meets a woman who is poor but she is still cheerful in contrast to Hee-Joo. Reflection of You will air on JTBC and Netflix.

Work Later, Drink Now (October 22)

Adapted from a webtoon, this drama tells the story of three friends; An So-Hee (Lee Sun-Bin), Han Ji-Yeon (Han Sun-Hwa), and Kang Ji-Gu (Jung Eun-Ji) who always meet after work for drinks. All three are single and in their 30s.

The three of them meet Kang Buk-Gu (Choi Si Won), a variety show producer.

Jirisan (October 23)

Much awaited, Jirisan tells of a group of rangers working in Mount Jiri National Park. Seo Yi Gang (Jun Ji Hyun) is the best guard there. He knows everything on Mount Jiri.

Then there is Kang Hyun-Jo (Ju Ji Hoon), a new guard who just graduated from the military academy. Seo Yi Gang and Kang Hyun-Jo work together to save many people on Mount Jiri. Jirisan can be watched every Saturday and Sunday on iQiYi.

Shall We Have a Cup of Coffee? (October 24)

Kang Go Bi (Ong Seong Wu) has a passion for working as a barista at a cafe owned by Park Seok (Park Ho San). Kang Go Bi gets to work learning about coffee through Park Seok's life lessons.

Chimaira (October 30)

The Korean drama Chimaira is a mystery drama about detective Jae Hwan (Park Hae Soo), criminal profiler Yoo Jin (Claudia Kim), surgeon Joong Yeob (Lee Hee Joon). They work together to solve the case of Chimaira, a serial murder that starts over 35 years.

Koo Kyung Yi

As the name implies, this Korean drama focuses on Koo Kyung-Yi (Lee Young Ae), a former police officer who works as an insurance employee as well as a detective. With his intelligence, Koo Kyung-Yi tries to solve a murder case led by a high school student.
